Rise & Shine Digestive Tonic

Rise & Shine Digestive Tonic

We all know what it’s like to wake up the morning after and feel the haze of too much.

Too much food, too much drink, too much of a good time.

If you’re planning to attend the Best Ever New Year’s Eve party this weekend, then we highly suggest grabbing a lemon and some spring water before Thursday (to pair with the Organic Raw Unfiltered Superfood Cider Vinegar Concentrate and Organic Longevity Hot Sauce we know you already have in your cabinet).

Lemon is nature’s detoxifier. Superfood Cider Vinegar Concentrate and Longevity Hot Sauce® are our secret weapon detoxifers, and we’re about to share our top notch recipe to combat the nights of “too much”.

Powerhouse detoxifiers, unite!

We all have those “Oh no, why did I eat that….” mornings when we feel the pain of consuming those gluten-filled, sugar-filled treats sitting in our belly causing us a world of hurt.

This surprisingly tasty remedy will help with an alcohol hangover, but what we’re really going after is the hangover your belly will be experiencing from the chips, pastries, bean dip and clam dip, and all those scrumptious cheesecake bites you just couldn’t resist.

Luckily, you can make this Digestive Tonic at any hour, so if you need to sleep in after your late night party, no problem! If you feel the digestive upset starting before you go to bed, put bedtime on hold, and drink a glass of this first.

When you get up the following day, this should be the first thing you drink. Wait for at least half an hour before eating or drinking anything else to let this liquid work it’s magic.

This Digestive Tonic will not only soothe your aching gut, but it will also balance and alkalize your body, cleansing your liver from the toxic overload you experienced the night before.

Your stomach will thank you, your hangover will leave, and you will feel ready to take on the new year with a smile!

Rise & Shine Digestive Tonic Recipe

Ingredients:

12 oz. Warm Spring Water

Juice of half a Lemon

1-2 teaspoons of Organic Raw Unfiltered Superfood Cider Vinegar Concentrate

A few drops of Organic Longevity Hot Sauce (to taste)

Directions:

Gently warm 12 oz of spring water on the stove. While you’re waiting for those tiny little bubbles to form on the bottom of the pan (don’t boil it, just let it simmer to the point of warmth), slice open your lemon and squeeze the juice from half of it into a glass.

Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of the Organic Raw Unfiltered Superfood Cider Vinegar Concentrate and a few drops (to taste) of the Organic Longevity Hot Sauce. Pour the warmed water into your glass and sip it slowly.
